How binding is this small print?

We Answered:

What do you mean by VAT on top?

The VAT should probably only be on the extra hire, and maybe the admin fee depending on what it's actually for.

The £1250 would normally be seen as compensation and outside the scope of VAT, separately charged for finance charges (the 2%) can be seen as financial services and exempt from VAT.

Indeed there'd be a case to say that the extra hire charge isn't actually a supply to you but further compensation to them and so also without VAT.

I'd have thought that there should be very little VAT here.

Motorsports- Hiya everyone a quick question?

We Answered:

I note it mentions Activity Superstore so this looks to me like the "Motor Sports Entrance Ticket for Two" on this page http://www.findexperiencedays.com/motor-… . Apart from selling direct, Activity Superstore is a 'white label' merchant for a number of other retail outlets (Argos, WH Smiths etc.) so it may well be exactly the same thing even though you may be looking at a different retailer and even though there is a small difference in the title.

Assuming it is the same then I agree it's NOT a driving experience, it is a pair of tickets to attend a motorsport event somewhere in the UK. I would say the key thing is to make sure that there is a venue within a decent distance (or count on paying for B&B) and that there are events of the kind you are interested in (e.g. some venues might just be for bikes) and within a reasonable time span. Probably best to phone the company you are looking at buying from and get further details.

Good luck!

Car insurance and tax in tunisia algeria and morocco?

We Answered:

No visa ever covers for insurance or tax.

For tax, what do you mean? you don't have to pay taxes when you're visiting, unless you are importing huge amounts of merchandise that is meant to be sold.

For car insurance, of course, you do need one. It has to be done before departure. All companies sell international car insurance. see with your insurance company. there's no way you can enter any foreign country y car without proper insurance

How Many Europeans and Canadians do Americans need to hear from to realize they're being sold a bridge?

We are being inundated with propaganda from the Right, right now. The big 'Socialist Boogie Man' and all that crap. They must be sh!tting in their pants. That loss of control. That chance that the well greased health care machine might have to compete instead of robbing the working class blind. Some of us already know.

I lost my beautiful, vibrant, working, 69 year old mom to Pancreatic Cancer in February. She couldn't get medical/medicare because she worked part-time (with no insurance of course).

It was 2 weeks from diagnosis until she took her last breath. A week before she died... she watched Ruth Ginsberg smiling and walking around fit as a fu@king fiddle with the same cancer. It broke my heart.

Fu@k them.
