Car Contents Insurance

Rafael Said:

What are the average costs for these types of insurance?

We Answered:

Well, average British people don't post to the USA board for an answer, like you did.

Even so, there's no "average" value of a car. And you can't average an 18 year old driver with three accidents, with a 50 year old driver with a clean record, and come out with any meaningful kind of number.

There's no "average" length of string. But if you're looking for average HEALTH insurance costs in the UK, with the national health program, it's actually FREE.

autoinsurance.noneto.com - try this one. I have their car insurance and, as I know, they can provide such a service.

Which insurance company do you use in Auckland for house, content and car?

We Answered:

autoinsurance.noneto.com - try this one. I personally have their car insurance, cause it is the cheapest for me in our area.

Shannon Said:

Will my home owers insurance cover contents stolen from my car if my car was parked away from my home?

We Answered:

If your homeowners insurance has theft coverage, yes, it should.

HOWEVER, be sure to check the deductible on your homeowners vs the value of the items stolen, AND, be sure to read over the limitations/exclusions on electronic items and media that you keep in your car (as usually, that's all that gets stolen from a car, besides purses/wallets).

Kristen Said:

does fully comp car insurance cover contents?

We Answered:

In the States, Full Comprehensive Coverage only covers things ON the car....such as windows, interior, exterior, and car accessories like CD players and the like. As far as your bag goes and its contents, just file a report with the Bobbies and hope for the best but chances are slim to none that you'll ever get them back. Unless you have the best insurance in the world for your car, it is unlikely that your insurance company will cover those items. I'm sorry about your unfortunate circumstances.
