They insure anything for which I have not seen a doctor or received treatment in the last six months. Make sure that they know that your visits to the doctor recently are check ups only with good results.

And not one proposed bill by Democrats addresses reform to the mean and evil insurance companies, what does that tell you. Insurance companies are just the monster of the week, next week it will be fast food or cell phones.

Mad Mama- if the issue is pre existing conditions, why not just address that issue instead of a governmental take over of the entire health care system.
Its like scraping a new BMW because of a flat tire, if the issue is the tire, fix the flat, you don't need a brand new car!

And why don't Democrats want to reduce cost of medical services by lawsuit reform? Wouldn't that also lower costs? Its because Democrats are beholden to trail lawyers, their main contributors.

I recently heard and saw on TV which is very true..The second@nd riches man in the world is Warren Buffet, he let his sister take so many millions, and give away to help people, you have to write her explaining to your deepest pain pray she will get your letter and help you it' worth your life to try,

what she do Her and about thre-four of her best friends sit down daily and read all these letters and they pick so many a week.. I would send a picture as well,,God Bless You

you'll have to check your individual coverage. you should be able to logon to your local bcbs, check the back of your insurance card or you can use the link below to find yours. once there you should be able to access your account information and coverage online with your member id and ssn. you can also review past paid or pending claims to review your copays etc. other than that you can call the 800 # on the back of your card and speak to a rep. you may also ask to speak to a nurse or someone in utilization management.

With respect to anyone who holds a different opinion it has been my experience that dog insurance is worth every penny. I have always had the peace of mind of knowing that my dogs can have the veterinary treatment that is in their best interest to have, the instant they need it, & I don't have to incur a debt to finance it.

My dogs are currently insured with Pet Plan on their covered for life supreme plan & the policy provides extremely comprehensive cover.

Pet Plan cover runs in claim years, so if you took a policy out in October 2010, the dog would be covered until October 2011.

On the supreme plan if a dog was diagnosed with cancer (as mine was in 2003), the owner would pay the excess (amount payable by the owner for each condition) once, for all the treatment covered by the policy in a claim year (up to a limit of £12,000).

If the owner continued the cover without a break from October 2011, they would be able again to claim for treatment related to cancer up to £12,000, but would have to pay the excess again (currently £75.00).

My dog was referred to a veterinary hospital for a specialist opinion by an oncologist. Over a four period the bill to Pet Plan was in excess of £8,500 & I paid £240.00 (or thereabouts). This included the initial consultation, surgery, chemotherapy (which he sailed through) & six monthly check-ups at the veterinary referral hospital & treatment at my local vet.
