Any experience with Time Life Books?

We Answered:

As an older mom, I would say 'save your money'. Many companies use the tactic that you are not a good parent unless you buy their product. I would steer clear of anyone who uses this approach.
Your son's 'early development' will do fine if you spend time with him, read, play games, have conversations with him, etc. Use the local library. Use the internet. There is plenty of reading, pictures, video, audio, and other resources there.
Remember the days when people bought World Book Encyclopedias? You can get bookshelves full of reading on a CD now.
Books are important, but they do not have to be expensive to be effective.
