Every travel policy is slightly different. They all cover cancellation, medical costs and emergencies, accidental death or injury, personal liability, theft and loss of personal possessions, luggage and passport. I don't know what additional cover you're looking for to cover a cruise holiday.

A screening mammogram is your yearly exam and is done on a patient who has no breast symptoms or issues (no pain/lump/nipple discharge etc). A diagnostic mammogram is a mammogram done on a woman who has symptoms.

If your May 2007 mammogram was a screening mammogram and this is also a screening mammogram, it is true that BC/BS will not pay for it. The same rules apply to Medicare and Medi-caid. They allow a screening mammogram once a year....and it is a year to the day, not to the month. If you are having symptoms, you would be having a diagnostic mammogram, and insurance companies do not require that a diagnostic mammogram is done a full year after your last mammogram.

It depends where you live. Call your local library tomorrow. Ask for the Reference Desk. They should be able to answer this question.

Libraries are usually open 1-5pm on Sundays.

You might just have to call around to differnet health insurance companies and see who has the best deal. Hopefully the library person will be able to help you. :)

No. Grandfathered plans (plans currently in effect) will not be required to follow the preventive care guidelines. Any new plans taking effect 10/1/10 will be required to offer preventive care without a co-pay cost share. However, the premiums for these new plans will be increased to cover the cost.

Most travel insurance policies are fairly comprehensive, although there will be options for lost baggage and cancellation etc. It's best to take these options considering the expense wasted if you can't fly or lose something, especially as travel insurance isn't the priciest thing in the world.

Having had to claim myself before, I would always recommend a policy with a low excess. My in-laws and I were in a traffic accident in Crete. Our policy was more expensive, although I didn't pay for it, as it's a perk at my work. We were refunded most of the money we had to spend on medicine and treatment, whereas my in-laws were £150 out of pocket on theirs.
