Also, have you looked into having your inpatient care taken care of at like a nursing home? I'm unsure as to why you're being admitted, but sometimes that's a better route.

I got a good deal from the AA but I am under 65 (just). I think once you reach 65 the premium is higher, . I went to confused .com and the AA came out on top, must be worth a try good luck.

I would definitely consider that an accident and I would get a hold of your provider and see if they are willing to replace it. Most should stating you've only had it for such a short period.
