Dwayne Said:

If I am hurt job in Texas and my company does not have workers compensation insurance. What are my options?

We Answered:

File on your insurance and sue the company. Make the company pay for services up front and get a letter from them stating that any other expenses will be taken care of. Get a lawyer and do not settle for the first offer. It is agianst the law for them not to have comp insurance so they could looses the business also

Darren Said:

Can workers compensation insurance cover third party who works in the insured place? ?

We Answered:

In most states, if you work as a sub-contractor for a business, ie. 1099 worker, you are covered under their comp unless you have your own.

If you work for a contractor, who is working in a place, then the contractors comp will respond if you do not have any.

These are the basics, and each situation is slightly different. With more particulars, we could be more specific.
