Depending on what type of case you want to pursue. If it is a worker's comp case,most attorney's will accept the case if it financially viable for them to do so,and do it on a contigency basis a.k.a. "no win-no fee". If it is a type of discrimination or sexual harassment case, a civil rights lawyer is a better option,or report the incident to E.E.O.C. Also the word "reasonable" is a very broad term when applied to any type of lawsuit. A good,qualified, attorney will be able to make this distinction. Most attorneys will give a "no cost initial consultation",to determine if your case is meritorious.

I would never say never - I do believe that many insurance companies have a time limit on when they will reimburse a claim, some as soon as 12 months after the service. However, I would communicate to them what you did in this question and see what happens. It cant hurt!
