For something that simple, I would just call Mutual of Omaha and notify them that you didn't get your card. They'll verify the address they have on file for you and send you another one. They could probably even email or fax you a card (sometimes this is prohibited).

But to answer your question, yes. The New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance oversees all companies and individuals licensed to sell insurance in New Jersey.

First, you may or may not be being discriminated against but it's not illegal to discriminate against people with a drawl. So why dwell on that ?

You lived in an area that has jobs, Atlanta. You moved to an area that has jobs. Both cities are enormous. So how can you not find an accounting gig ? There's 101 accountant jobs on Monster in Philly.

First thing you should both do is figure out where you want to live, then start looking for jobs there. You must be able to find work as an accountant in a city with 3 million people, ATL or Philly. And your husband needs to expand his thinking, why the hell someone who is so successful (a) can't find a job in a huge city like ATL and (b) would take a TEMP gig in Philly is beyond me.

Pick a place to live, you both find any job in your field, stop worrying about kids, get on with life, enjoy yourselves. I can't imagine what turmoil you've been thru.
