You forgot the salutation - Dear Senator Reid, sounds more polite and professional than simply Senator Reid.

Drop the paragraphs about Obama's birth certificate and the Supreme Court Justice (btw, you mis-spelled her last name), because it's a bit on the extreme side, and you ultimate goal is for someone to pass it on to Reid. Other than that, it's fine. You might want to add a paragraph expressing understanding on how hard it is to read a 1,000 page bill, but it's something that needs to be done. If for no other reason than to refute people who believe the Healthcare bill will provide for taxpayer abortions etc. and if possible, provide the page number(providing he can find it, of course) referring to the question.

It is a waiting game. No one on here can possibly give you an accurate time frame for a government agency. It isn't possible. If you gave them all the correct contact information, they will start mailing notices and letters. Child support agencies are one of the only agencies in this nation that is allowed to garnish wages. If he is currently working and has a social security number and he is now correctly in the system, it will all balance out. Good luck.

I would like to add that the poster after me is correct. Your husband is not responsible for child support until he is served with divorce papers. Until you have some kind of legal document stating that you are truly legally separated, child support does not accrue. I know in Texas, legal separation does not exist. I was divorced in Washington State and child support did not accrue until my ex-husband was served with the divorce petition. I don't want you to get into the false hope that he owes you or your child anything during your trial separations. You will most likely NOT get back support for that.

No doubt the easiest way to get insurance quotes is on the web.
Why would you waste your time on the phone calling around?
the last time i needed quotes on insurance i used one of these comparison sites and it was great.
this is the site i used and it was quick like less than 5 mins.
The last thing I want to do is listen to elevator music while waiting for a salesman.
Anyway I got good quotes and ended up saving money so I was happy.
So shop around and compare quotes which is easy on the net.

I just double checked the DMV rule in NV for selling a car (something you could have done) and in NV you have to fill out and keep a BILL OF SALE which sounds like you failed to do, otherwise, you have no proof you are no longer the owner of the car. It doesn't matter you turned in your plates and cancelled your insurance...you have to inform the state of the new owner...so when something like this happens, they go after the right person. Since you're the last registered owner of the vehicle you will get notices such as this...until you can prove you sold it (bill of sale) and who you sold it to (name, address of the person)...you're on the hook. I mean c'mon...I live in NV too...haven't you figured out how shady some of these people are and YOU have to protect yourself from things such as this.
