Try to prospect atleast 2 people everyday for six months straight and I promise it will work wonders for you. 1. Who are you trying to recruit for? Are you an exclusive agent? I ask this because most companies do your screening for you and send you people to interview (e.g. Allstate, State Farm, Farmers ... you get the point).

2. If you're independent, you're going to have to bear this cost on your own if you want to find quality people. You could use something like Craig's list, or small ads in the newspaper (they're not that expensive), but you're not likely to get people who can actually sell and have experience selling to apply for those jobs because that caliber of talent is not looking in those places.

Instead, try networking, asking around, or linking up with a school that offers CE or class requirements in your area. They will have a pool of candidates--just posting something about your agency may be enough.

Good luck. Scratch agencies are very hard.
