Next, what kinds of things do you want to do? Phone calls and mailers are great when used properly.

I also like referrals. That's my number one strategy for building a business. It just has to be proactive.

Do you have any really amazing programs that beat your competition hands down? If so, you really want to focus on those.

When building a marketing plan we always want to know who our TARGET market is first. Second, Where are they in the LARGEST concentration. Third, what's the best way to communicate with them.

One of my favoriate ideas is to link up with a CPA or two in town and send out a "Complimentary Investment Overview Session" to all of their clients in their next invoice mailings. It works much better than direct mail because the leads are already qualified.
