It's certainly at least 50% of everything that you earn. As to exactly how much tax we pay in Britain depends on our lifestyles. Remember that in addition to all the usual taxes on wages, you're subject to consumer spending where we're taxed again, then if we want luxuries like mobile phones / holidays/ cars / broadband / insurances / hobbies like fishing etc..... then we are taxed again and again and it doesn't leave much left for the average Joe.

Britain is awful at the moment, but I don't think it's going to change much even if we have a change of govt next year.

i think it is a scam

why do you have to wire them money in order to recieve money? it doesn't make much sense to me. And i don't even think that is a real bank. I believe it is a scam maybe look into it a bit more befor you do anything.
