If your father cashed them when they were meant for you or in your name than he will be liable for fraud and would have to go through the courts to get your money. If you feel you have been jilted in anyway, contact a lawyer and have them handle it. Estates are messy, lawyers are the best way to go.

hey there.. Frustrating situation.. I work in collections and the majority of them are medical.. Unfortunately in this situation it will boil down to the patient is always responsible to make sure their bill is paid for, insurance billing problems happen and is up to the patient to follow up to make sure all claims are submitted and paid. I know that's not what you want to hear.. but that is what it will boil down to.. you can go to www.annualcreditreport.com to submit a dispute and you acn also post consumer statements on there that way if anyone pulls your credit they will see your side of the story.. as far as them calling you at work.. if you have told them not to call you there then they are not allowed to call you there, you could definately file a complaint with the BBB or atty general about that.. hope this helps
