Double duty fraud is what I see, having your name added to the policy AFTER the accident, and then trying to claim it as a hit and run. If you want to go to jail that badly, give it a try. Your girlfriend may go, too.

Insurance adjusters (people who are licensed in your state to handle claims and investigate accidents) know ALL the angles. They're specially trained to sniff out fraud. They check EVERY time, trust me.

File it like it happened. Chances are you will still be covered, even if you weren't on the policy at the time, because you borrowed the vehicle with your girlfriends permission. But don't try to lie.
