Center Insurance Agency

Paula Said:

Does anyone know if insurance agencies cover the center caps for my factory wheel?

We Answered:

You do Not want to file a claim for $130 it will just end up biting you in the butt. You probably have a deductable so a claim that small will get you no money and get put on your insurance records. Most deductables are $250 to $1000 depending on what type of policy you have. A deductable is the amount of money you pay first before the insurance company picks up the rest of the bill. Too many claims (no matter how small) and an insurance company will raise your rates or worse drop you from their plan all together.

Should/Can I sue my car insurance company?

We Answered:

The insurance company should be taking care of this since your adjuster isn't contacting you. Call and speak to a manager or call the corporate office and complain first. You can also try calling the Insurance Commissioner in your state and file a complaint. Good insurance companies are usually on the ball and get things done quickly and efficiently. After all this is over change insurance companies.

What to do when insurance refuses to pay for son's extended stay in rehab center?

We Answered:

WHY does Aetna refuse to approve it? Fighting the insurance company on this, the way to win, is to show them that the reason they're denying, is wrong.

Son can give you power of attorney, to give you the authority to discuss this with the insurance company, and then you can talk to them. You'll have to fax the power of attorney form over to them. If son won't do this, then this is his problem, not yours.

The facility will have a billing department - but if the claim is denied for anything other than a paperwork issue, they can't do anything about it.

Unless you can get your son declared legally incompetant, and be given guardianship of him, there's nothing you can do in this matter - and you're not going to get anywhere, over a weekend, anyway.

Most likely the reason for denial is one of two things: Either there are no mental health benefits under his insurance plan (common), or the condition was preexisting before he purchased the insurance policy, and coverage was excluded for the condition either temporarily or permanently, depending on if it's a private policy or a group policy.

The best thing you can do for you AND your son, is to find a local Nar-Anon meeting, and start going. Every day. Twice a day, if you need to.

Once a vehicle has rolled is it considered scrap or can it be repaired?

We Answered:

You're correct. Any time a vehicle has been rolled it's history. Nothing will align from the frame up. The only things that can be salvaged are engines transmissions, differentials and maybe some interior pieces.. The sheet metal and frame are beyond repair. Remove your personal goods and send it to the scrap yard,
