You have to talk to their claims departments, about getting on the list. You'll need liability coverage, possibly a bond, workers comp, and lots and lots of marketing.

To go with a major company, you'd have to have a pretty big restoration service - maybe 50 employees or more.

It would probably be easier, and more successful, to go around to local agents, with a dozen donuts once a month - or notepads with your number on it. Independent agents are JUST as influential as large companies, at directing business towards smaller contractors/restoration companies.

The Axis of Evil (Obama-Pelosi-Reid) passed a whole bunch of new regulations and taxes under the guise of health care reform.

Covering more people, paying new taxes, covering more conditions, complying with new regulations, filling out more paperwork, all these things cost time and money.

When a business's costs go up, they either raise prices or go out of business. Obama is hoping they go out of business so he can take over health care entirely. So you think your cost will go down THEN? No, of course not. Government is a monopoly. Monopolies can raise prices whenever they want because they have no competition. You might not get a bill from the hospital but you'll still get a bill from the government.

I agree with you. The government spends more time trying to assure the public that they are taking care of the problems than actually taking care of the problems.

I don't know about great, but the big ones are Farmers, Allstate, Auto Club and State Farm.

I think State Farm is the best, but I am also biased so call around all the Big companies and find an agent that you are confortable with.

And, each office of all the big companies is independently owned except Auto Club. So, there are good and bad agent's offices with all the big companies. So, what your question really is, is, which agent's office is a good office to work for. Then you might want to post your city and state for more help on that.

the health care reform bill is garbage and you know it. You have no concern for the consequences of passing it so long as your boy gets his political win.

Contact your state's insurance controller and discuss this with one of their personel. You can make a complaint against the insurance company.
