Most teens are simply added to their parents policy, that's the cheapest way. I don't think you can purchase insurance on your own. An insurance policy is a legal contract, and minors can not enter into contracts.

Also I would advise you not to buy a new car. Most teens, because of lack of driving experience, will wreck or seriously damage their first car. Just get something cheap, safe, and reliable for now. Let the new car wait until you graduate from college.

Why would you want to purchase a NON independent agency??

Well, anyway, you'd have to contact State Farm, or Allstate, and see if they have any agencies with current books "available" for purchase. The sale can't happen without the approval of the direct writer, that would be, the State Farm, so you have to go to them first.

You'll need to give them your resume, and have lots and lots of experience. It's probably EASIER to start from scratch.
