State Farm is the biggest. There is also Allstate, Farmers, Auto Club, ect.

Call the Department of Insurance in your state and ask which companies has the fewest complaints. That is the best place to find out.

Think of it this way: if your house was falling down around you, which would you rather have: bits of wood or chunks of concrete falling on your head?
(This argument works much better in California (earthquakes) than Florida (hurricanes) but the principle is the same.)
I spose its a little like crumple zones in an engine bay: it is designed to collapse in the intrest of safety.
Also, isnt it easier to rebuild a wooden structure than a concrete one?
I wouldnt know, im not a constructor :)

I didn't see any record of them on A.M. Best's website...they list most insurance carriers. My guess would be no...

At 18, you are legally an adult. Why would the insurance company care if you were in the motorhome by yourself?

They've been around for over 30 years in FL. They have a satisfactory rating with the BBB but have had 70 complaints in the last 3 years which is a little high. With my experience it may be worth the $300 - $400 premium in any one year but it is not worth the money over time.
