We Answered:

You can deposit the premium through any agent or yourself directly. The commission will go directly to the old agent. You can not change the agent unfortunately.

However LIC has since introduced ECS systems and the premium gets debited directly to your chosen bank account. Opt for the same immediately by depositing the request with local LIC office.

You can't just not pay something and expect it to go away, when you first received the bill did you try and fight it or shove it in the trash because " it wasn't your fault " It isn't the Dr's fault to check and see if your insurance covers everything, if your not willing to pay for it you need to ask them to check everything before you authorize it, but hey it's only your health right?

The Title 18 of the U.S. Code, Section 1029 provides the penalties for “fraud and related activities in connection with access devices,” where access devices refers to any means of account access, including credit cards, account numbers, and PINs, as well as telecommunications services and equipment. The laws in the code prohibit things such as producing, possessing, trafficking in, or soliciting for access devices with the intent to defraud.

Depending upon circumstances regarding the offense and how many counts one is charged with, it could carry a prison term of not more then 10 -20 years and fines as well as forfeiture to the United States of any personal property used or intended to be used to commit the offense.

That's Federal, now each state also has their own laws regarding the illegal use of ones credit card and/or information.

As to a small amount like that, I doubt anything will happen (unless this person has done it before).

Step one is to get an estimate of the damages. If it's close to, or less that $1,000, pay out of pocket. The property owner didn't do anything to make the gate malfunction, so it's doubtful he can be held responsible, but I'd contact him anyway and file a claim for your damages.

If you denied their coverage, and have $1,000 deductible, those are choices you made that have now come back to bite you. Sorry.

Acermill is correct, this would not be included. It is covered in your insurance. I have no idea why you thought not to have insurance but you made that personal choice. Now, you have to abide by the choices you made and pay the bill for the item that you purchased.

Dell would have most likely waived the extra fees under the circumstances, but you did not deal with it and it is no longer in their control. You can try talking the collection agency into waiving fines if you pay for your merchandise.
