Car insurance for teenagers?

We Answered:

For teenagers?
Probably not possible. Since your a teenage it will go over 1 grand depending on the car, Assuming you get 2 way coverage.

If it's 1 way coverage then it's possible.

Try google. I'm not familiar with UK insurance companies.

Car Insurance Companies are Sexist and It's Seriously Wrong?

You said it, m'lad. It's because a few Neanderthal idiots drive like zombies, and the rest of us have to suffer (and pay for their repeated high claims).

Car insurance Companies are Sexist and It's Seriously Wrong?

We Answered:

Nothing sexist about it at all.

All insurance is based on risk.
It has been shown many many times that males between the ages of 17 & 25 are at the greatest risk of having an accident and consequently costing the insurance companies more money.
SO..... they have to pay more.

Just as older people or people who smoke etc. have to pay more for life insurance
Just as it costs more for household insurance if you live in the middle of London rather than out in the sticks.

You can mitigate some of the risk/expense by taking extra instruction and tests which are recognised by a lot of insurance companies.

You DO have a choice whether to drive or not and insurance is compulsory, not to protect you but others on the road.

Discuss It!
