Depends on the state you're in but it's most likely because your male and 17. That's just how the business is. Best bet is if you live with older people, ask them to be insured on it and have coverage to anyone else driving in the household, it'll bring the cost down. hope this helps.

Actually, from some of the questions we see here from the UK, that's not too bad. Premiums in the UK seem exorbitant compared to those in the US, which are bad enough at your age.

Fully comp as it pays if you are the only one whos fault it is and you write it off - TFTT does not pay out for your bike if the accident is your fault. Does not usually cost much more anyway.
Too many variables to even guess a price.
having used comparison websites many many times for cars vans and a bike over the last few years I have never had a phone call from any of them.
