It depends on who your insurance company is...
I know that with State Farm you get a small discount only if you take an actual "Driver Training" course from a certified instructor; you wouldn't get any discount from taking an online driver's ed class...

Ur first mistake is simply looking online. Its always good to talk to someone when getting a quote since the computer doesnt always factor in everything that goes into rating a policy, those rates are simply approximate. Its hard to tell which companies might be helpful for you because I dont know what state ur in and every state has different companies and their own guidelines for insurance. The best thing to do is call different companies, give them any info they ask for and that should help.
While u may have a clean driving record, other things factor into the rates like where ur located, and your vehicle usage. Keep these in mind when talking to agents about quotes. Hope this helps!
