I don't know any place that you find a comparison worksheet. There too many different types of class "A" motor homes to make a comparison to all the different size fifth wheels and all the different size and type of trucks to pull them with. The most popular class "A" mh's sold today can be from 24'-40' gas or diesel. The same with fifth wheels (double axle or triple axle) 24'-40'. Trucks can be gas or diesel 1/2, 3/4 or 1 ton single or dual axle. If I had more information narrowed down to what you want to do I would be able to give you more information.

If you have a vehicle and it has no insurance then you cannot legally even park it on the road so you would not want to spend money on tax so you would obviously make it SORN. If you do so then you are playing by all the rules and so you will not get fined. I cannot see for the life of me how this cannot be FAIR to everyone else who plays by the rules - the vast majority of us in fact.

Whether you think it is fair or not this is going to start in about 2 months time. Along with the increasing numbers of ANPR devices on the roadside and in Police cars there is going to be a massive crackdown on insurance fraud and evasion in the UK - about time too.

Another measure that will be announced officially in the next few days is that the insurance companies are to be given access to the DVLA records of licence endorsements - this means an end to the fraud of people trying to not declare them. This results in problems for legit drivers who when involved in claims with these people find that their insurance has been voided due to non disclosure of a material fact. About time too again.

Its simple - keep your car legal with non fraudulent insurance, tax and MOT and just like the majority of people now the net will not be closing in on you. Do it wrong and they are coming to get you.
