Generally, of the three, Hondas and Toyotas tend to have better rates than Mazdas.

Basically, if you are in the market for a sedan, Honda Civics & Accords and Toyota Corollas & Camrys carry pretty average rates. Now if you're looking for a sports coupe or for an SUV, its a whole other ball game.

Best thing I can tell you is to think of a few vehicles (Year Model, Brand, Model, Trim Level) that you are interested in. You also need to know if the vehicles are 4, 6, or 8 cyl, and if you looking at SUVs, you need to know if it is 2 or 4 wheel drive. Write them down. Then call your agent, tell him you're car shopping, and have him quote each vehicle you have picked out. Then go with the one you think is the best. This can usually be done by phone. I do it all the time.
