for a brief guideline you can visit licindia.com. The product like Anmol Jeevan (upto 25 lakhs), Amulya Jeevan (above 25 lakhs) are pure term assurance plans with LIC. Upto 35 years of age LIC is cheaper.I hope you are in this age group. There is no other benefit to compare .LIC has transparency.As private insurers sites do not divulge all information in their sites, it is difficult to get a comparison.
