If it is less than 2 years since you passed your test then your full licence is revoked uner the new driver law. I realise that this a shock to you and you may not believe it so have a read of this Direct.Gov page for proof.

The magistrates could opt to ban you at their discretion but this is unlikely.
This means that if you are not banned to drive again you need to apply for a Provisional licence and start again with the hazard test and pass a new driving test to get the full licence back.

You Dad, if he is still using his own car with the NCB, could not have used that NCB on another policy for you at the same time. You were not bending the rules a little you were both untertaking a criminal act. Seems losing the full licence has nmeant you have both got off lightly.

There is no point appealing to the court in any way unless you can prove that the 6 points and loss of licence will cause serious hardship to others, not to you. As you live alone you will not be able to prove this and so there is no point and you will be a learner again.

Lesson - never try to tell lies to an insurer - they know all the tricks and schemes you do and many more besides.

Incidentally - as the car is supposed to be your Dads and he thus was letting you use it with no nsurance he can also be given the 6 points for aiding and abetting.
