Liberal loons: will National health care "increase competition and keep insurance companies honest"?

We Answered:

As far as HR3200 explains, the competition will be based on the fees and late charges compared to private sector policy's. The price for govt. healthcare in a nutshell, is so low, it cannot even be compared to the private sector.

Speaking of pricing, and the average healthcare benefit packages available for the general public.. The price will vary depending on annual income brackets.

If a recipient of the new govt. healthcare is registered with welfare, the recipient will have to forfeit previous social security funding. They can either choose to prolong their govt. healthcare package and lose their social security "savings," or they can rid their welfare cards in place of a reimbursement of food products subtracted from their healthcare package costs.

I know this is incredibly dumb... But the entire system is flawed beyond imaginability.

With all this being said, and then locked in place when the bill passes, it will be very hard for the private sector to hold on to it's current business tactics. It will definately change strategic management at a whole new level and many will be decieved-- but that is the whole point of Obamacare to begin with. They want to implicate unknown charges to their customers. It will certainly bring the reputations of large insurance companies down. The private sector will have no choice BUT to decieve the public, just to compensate for it's loss of business-- due to lack of competition.

I must ask a question however. Why ask a liberal loon, when they are currently lost in the lies themselves? A democrat does not care about honesty- especially among the private sector, as they are opting for HR 3200 to pass indefinately.

A reminder to the loons, read the bill here:

National health care will "increase competition and keep insurance companies honest"?

We Answered:

oim, you mention one of my biggest problems with government takeover of health care - you have to buy it. What if I am sufficiently financially setup hat can afford to pay for any health care with cash? Why should I have to buy it - especially form a government that has never gotten anything right??? Why should I have to pay for care for fat people, drunks, junkies, smokers, tramps, baby factories or their bastards? I happen to like our current system and don't want anything to do with the government's brand.

Jean-Claude, name for me the ONE thing that the federal government took over that was run nearly as efficiently, nearly as successfully or nearly as competently as before the takeover. YOU CAN'T!! Everything the federal government touches sees skyrocketing costs as quality drops as fast as billy clinton's pants. I should trust MY health care to an entity with that kind of record? Not in this lifetime!

What are the inconvenients in Singapore?

We Answered:

its nice to be able to experience new environments in few countries that is totally different from where you are...
as a law- abiding person like you, there shouldn't be any problem living in singapore for a couple of years.

the inconvenience you are more likely to find:
1) singapore is a small country, so you may feel suffocated... houses are small, parks are small, furnitures are small, as compared to europe...on weekends, you may get bored since there are limited places to go, except to the entertainment scene.
2) local lingo: singlish... it maybe an ear- sore to you
3) different strokes for different folks: either you find singapore to be efficient, or 'controlled'
4) most singaporeans are money & posession focused
5) typically bad phone manners

OR:
1) Singapore is clean, safe, warm and welcoming.
2) so many races and religions live side by side in such harmony
3) its cleaner; basically all of Singapore is as clean as as the nicest areas of most cities
4) the quality of life; Singapore has got the beach, parks, vicinity to other asian destinations
5) FOOD! FOOD! FOOD!

there will always be some arrogant foreigners who enjoy raving about their deluded superiority, to put singapore down.

emmigrating to canada as an computer scientist?

We Answered:

Dont know much about Germany but if you just want to compare money earning potential you would probably be better off in the USA, UK. Because salaries there are much better compared to those in Canada.
Canada is slowly picking up on IT boom but that may take some time, as of now USA may be the best option.
