I don't think so as long as you're not really applying for insurance and not using another real person's information. Anyway, it's not like they'll come after you, but they may block your IP. You pretty much have no choice but to put fake information on those things because they'll just send you a bunch of junk mail if you put your real information.

Tell that person to kiss your ***. It's not larceny unless you're stealing real money. Actually, if you're talking about Second Life, you can convert lindens to real money, but 1000L only equals like $4. You're not even going to get that much from filling out those stupid surveys though. The most I ever made in a day was like 400L, and I must've been really lucky because I could never make that much again. Most of the time, they don't even pay you. Trust me, they're not going to do anything to you except maybe ban you from doing surveys.

Well, you're NOT going to get a free online quote for a limo - it's a COMMERCIAL policy, and there are WAY too many variables, so you can't rate online. Not even with Progressive.

SOME agencies will give you a free quote - but to be classified by an insurance company as a limo is tough - the requirements are VERY narrow. The alternative is looking at livery or taxi rates.

The last limo I quoted in PA, the liability was about $7,000. That's for being able to go to an airport. But I gave up quoting for free, because I got lots of inquiries, spent lots of time, and even after telling people the ballpark, they wouldn't buy the coverage. So now I charge a "brokerage fee" which gets refunded if you buy the policy. Covers my time. You're NOT going to get this for $1,000 a year, or even double your personal auto rates.

because most companies have caller id;

but since you state you did not call them, most likely they found you by a search engine of your phone number. they could have called 10 other people 1st before getting you.

do a search online and see if you can find your number. there are services that now list cell numbers since so many people use them more or no longer have a land line.

we are not listed in the phone book, but i have done searches online and found it listed which makes me mad. it could be you have done business with other companies that may sell your personal info and they can find.

when i applied for health insurance last December, I received at least 10 calls from agents or e-mails for months.
