Oral Presenatation- On Text messsaging while driving.?

We Answered:

I would drop everything after "A Solution", because the text after that is plagiarized and a commercial advertisement for a product -- not appropriate for your presentation. http://autos.aol.com/article/safety/v2/_…

Also, I would suggest moving "If you really must text or talk on the phone without a handset, pull the car off of the road and stop.I think texting takes more concentration than just talking. So Text messaging while driving should be banned and everyone who is CAUGHT text messaging while driving should be punished." to the very end. That way, you discuss the problem thoroughly, then present your conclusion. In the current organization, you introduce the problem, present your conclusion, then go back to talking about the problem.

Is taking out a pay day loan my only option?

We Answered:

How's your credit other than the student loan issue? Have you pursued getting a personal loan from a bank first? You have good enough income to support a loan. How about a credit card? You can use it to pay the ticket then pay it off monthly. How about a loan from your 401K?

Pay day loans should be your last resort. If you MUST get one, plan ahead and know exactly when you can pay it off, and how much this is going to cost you.

Check your spelling -- there are a few errors, like 'coughed' instead of 'caught'.

I'd lead in with the 2nd paragraph (According to ABC), it seems to be a stronger lead. Then follow up with your opinion. Don't need the first sentence at all (I'm doing my presentation . . .) unless required by the teacher.

If you have the extra time -- and the nerve! -- try a quick 10 second intro of pretending to text on your cell phone while turning a corner, complete with squealing tires, crashing noises & a look of horror on your face. THEN, start your presentation. That will get their attention, for sure! Good luck!
