There are certain criteria that come into play when deciding on insurance. Budget or cost, the amount of insurance you are able to get for the cost and what is the deductible that you will be responsible for. Regarding Health Plans, most people are more concerned about the " big things" such as the inpatient hospital bill, surgeons bill or the anestheologist bill much more than having to pay for a doctors office visit. That being said it is important that you have proper coverage levels for that type of catastrophic coverage.

i am young and have made some money and lost some money. When i had it i have travled and i have seen americans traveling and the one thing i notice is americans feel when they travel they think they r still in the US like all should speak english among other things. Also one thing that really gets to me is something ive seen quite often..........that is making fun of others languages in front of the foreign language speaker. Im american and i speak other languages and have been made fun of (it was funny to me how stupid these americans were) then i shocked them by asking them what was so funny in spoken english. Most americans are afraid to travel cus we also feel like a target and we are not used to traveling abroad.

You have no choice but to call them and have them explain. Many companies have people working there that can speak several languages and in this case of travel, might have since many people travel all over the world.

But before you call, get out a pen/paper with your questions and leave several lines under each question of the answer they give you. The other thing is to explain to the agent the specific reason for either the 1 trip you plan to take or the kind of travel you do each year to understand if the policy will cover or not.

Also I suggest that on the bottom of your sheet of paper, you list the exclusions, or the things they will not pay for at all. The 101 quoted maybe reasonable price or may find that the reason for buying this policy will not pay for what you expect to be paid for and the reason for buying. As an example, many may only cover for things you have no control over, like weather, but if you just cancel, may not pay.

One last suggestion, why not post this under travel in Y/A where a lot of travel agents maybe able to explain to you.
