I pay $87 dollars a month on a new car, but that's because I've been driving for 33 years accident/claim free. My daughter is 20, has never had an accident/violation/claim and she pays $165/month for a 1999 Volkswagon Golf! We live in Michigan. Your rate doesn't seem too bad considering your age. Your rates will go down when you're 25 once the insurance company feels you have enough driving experience under your belt.

my brother lives in miami and the cheapest he could get on his truck was through geico insurance and it was in the hundreds also,all you can do is ask around and get some quotes on it,its real expensive to live there especially if you have to get insurance,good luck.

What is all this! Try traverlers auot insurance best rates I have found and they offer alot of discounts for varies things and they do not base it upon your credit rating either like most do!

A favorable claims and payment history with the same carrier can be advantageous especially if a string of unfortunate mishaps occur in a relatively short amount of time. At this point contacting Geico for a rate review and consideration into a more favorable tier with lower rates is a good idea. I am not familiar with Teachers but am very familiar with Mercury. Mercury automatically reviews their policies at each renewal and will place in a more favorable tier when the risk qualifies. A 12 month policy (Teachers) is a nice feature as this "locks in" the rate for a full year. Your on the right track to saving money, good luck!

mercury insurance, sterling insurance should be pretty cheap. when you start looking at big name companies like allstate, progressive you will pay a pretty penny. i would recomment either or. i got my insurance through http://www.autoinsurancepros.net and they provide free online quotes if you want to check them out. but keep shopping around...try even those auto insurance brokers around town. hope you find what your looking for. gl.
