Increasing obesity is a global problem. It is not only affecting the U.S. Statistics show that Mexico is poised to overtake the U.S. in its obesity rate. This article below also states it is a concern for Europe, also.

When I went to the U.K., I met a nurse from Wales who told me they had a problem with obesity in her country.
