Cheap Insurance Ca

Joy Said:

I just moved to Arizona from California and I can't find car insurance as cheap as I had in CA?

We Answered:

If you move to Nevada, you're in for a serious shock!!!

CA is probably the only state that regulates insurance rating practices the best. CA does not allow an insurance company to run your credit and base your rates off your insurance score, CA does not allow an insurance company to base your rates off your zip code. In CA they are only allowed to factor age, driving record, vehicle, prior claims, whether you've had ongoing insurance. The discounts you are allowed are much more generous than anywhere else I've found as well. In AZ rates are determined very differently.

I would suggest either staying with your current carrier or searching elsewhere, like AAA, State Farm, Farmers, Allstate. Pick the company that provides coverage based on your needs, as each will cover things very differently.

I got unemployed recently and lost my health insurance,is there a way to get cheap insurance in CA for kids?

We Answered:

Any uninsured child in California should automatically qualify for Medi-Cal. Go to your county offices and apply. They should even be able to give you temporary stickers to use until the paperwork is processed, and the kids' info is in the system.

Cheap car insurance in Highland, CA?

We Answered:

Unfortunately, for an 18 year old male, insurance rates are going to be fairly high until you reach age 25. If you still live at home with your parents, your best bet would be to add your vehicle to their policy, although, if the vehicle is in your name alone, the insurance company may not do that. My son had to put his car in my name to get coverage under my policy but it saved him quite a bit in premium.

Even if you can't add your car to your parents policy, you might want to call the same agent they use since he/she already knows your family.

Or, try GEICO or call a local State Farm, Allstate, Farmers or AAA agent. Or go on line and google insurance quote. You'll find a bunch of different quotes you can get on line. I've found though, that you're better off talking to an agent in person though then getting an on line quote.
