If you've ever in your life clicked a "free" button on...anything, rest assured it wasn't actually free as you wound up on a list of "possible customers" and your name was then sold.

Happens every single day. Oh, watch out for that grants thing!!

If you are simply listed as an occasional driver of the cars they already have insured then it should not change their rate unless you have an accident or moving violation. If they add another car with you named as a regular driver then that will, of course, incur additional costs.
