Ok. Unfortunately, under those circumstances your rates don't look to good. I was looking at 3000 for 6 months when I was your age. I have the same car except it's 2003. I don't have any traffic violations and I was still getting a really nasty rate. I ultimately went with Progressive. However, I am on my mom's policy. You CANNOT get a decent rate if you have less than 3 yrs driving, I had gone through all the companies looking for quotes when I got my car. If you go on your parent's policy the rate will be extremely much lower and will build your insurance history. I pay 430 for 6 months full coverage. You can take a defensive driving course and you will get a 10% off your premium. You can also get discounts for having a B average. Hope this helps!!
