most ins co. carry this insurance and all you have to do is ask your insurance co. about it, if they don't carry them then get your phone book out and call around.

i have my 65fastback insured for $12.000.oo, 56Chevy 210 insured for $13,000.oo, and my hotrod S-10 insured for $10,000.oo and for all 3 with full coverage it cost me a total of $351.oo year for all 3, and they even insure the parts that are not even on the car.
this is just for classic, customs or show cars and even cars that are not restored yet or are in restorations, not the daily driver's so you will have to be able to tell em that you have a daily driver for work and trips like that, and you can get even lower insurance with them if you limit your mileage per-year

It depends on the person and their record. Certain companies are looking for certain types of people to insure. They have different tiers, etc. So, you may be in a better rate in one company than the next. Another person may be the exact opposite of you.

Call around and you can do some quotes online with companies. Do not compare yourself to others, you have to get quotes for you.....and make sure all the coverages/limits are all the same for each quote so you can compare.

The bank will require full coverage. And a two year old car is still farily new. I think it's reasonable to maintain full coverage on it for the first five years or so. After that, collision and liability insurance should be enough.

As to how much you're paying, I don't want to sound like a commercial, but a few months ago I researched car insurance rates from several companies. I was actually really dissatisfied with the results, or lack thereof, I got from Allstate while doing my research. I was insured by them many years ago, but I don't think I would go with them again. But getting back to my point, Progressive really did provide me with the easiest comparison shopping. Just like they say in their commercial, they'll find you rates from more than one company and show which is best for you. For me, it was Geico. So check out Progressive's site and you'll end up with the best deal you can, I'm sure.

are you wanting just liability or a classic collector car policy with full coverage? if its just liability, your state sets these rates and anywhere you go should be the same rate. if its a classic car policy you need, try Infinity if your state writes with them. they have GREAT rates!
