It all starts with your zip code. Different companies dont write with some zip codes. Then you have to figure out what kind of plan you want. You get what you pay for. There is a website I am putting in my source box that went over all of this in video format. The guy seems straight up and even showed me how to fill out an application online. I didnt buy from him because I got a job about 2 days after I found him and got group insurance. I think he is only in Florida though. I know this though, your health and weight have alot to do with how expensive your insurance can be. Dont cancel your current policy before you get your new one. My mom did that and she is screwed. i guess many people in Malaysia still prefer the 1-1 interaction between customer and agent. At least when they know something happens,there is someone who can attend to them.Whereas in Singapore,it has become so matured,it is just another product which you can buy off the shelf.i think with an agent,they can give you a clearer picture of the policies,etc.Further to that,i would add,that s'porean consumers are well informed and educated consumers,they know exactly what they want and dont want.So for them,its really a matter of pricing

I think if you take it to Best Buy with your receipt, you can tell them that you bought it online and if you could add the insurance. I think they might do it.
