Yep. All they have to do is check the USPS Change Address database. Progressive does this.

If they don't check the USPS, they can check the state license database as you are required to report to the state when you move. In my state, the licensing department automatically updates your address if they discovered you moved by looking at the USPS database.

Even if they don't do either of those two, the renewal notices have to be mailed somewhere.

Just bite the bullet, report the address change and pay the $200

i have progressive i currently pay 111 a month for 6 months for full coverage since may 09 this will be my third term i really like them they have all kind of discounts and i have a previous accident that happen in 07 and 1 speeding ticket on record before progressive i had geico when i first got my car i paid 240 a month then when it was time to renew they upped the price to like 256 and that's before the accident after the accident the wanted to charged me 295 and i was like helllll noooo that was extremely to much so i changed to progressive which was just a 100 dollars cheaper at first but its constantly going down i know u didnt mention geico as a option but i just telling u they are expensive

The must have is Uninsured Motorists coverage. If you need to get full coverage, take a $500.00 deductible. You might want emergency road service, its usually not very much to add on. That is the main thing you want, even if your just getting liability, you need the Uninsured Motorists!
Try Geico, they are usually the best, and cheapest, and very dependable service. Hope you get the best you can.
