You have a choice - either go to a credit insurance underwriter directly for an 'inhouse' quote - AIG used to be good before they went broke! - you really need to be a big business for them to talk to you though.

Best bet is to go through a broker. They usually have a better range of credit insurance options and work harder for you as they only get paid if they place the cover. UK Credit Insurance (below) are one of the bigger brokers - and they deal with all the major underwriters so saves some leg-work!

Credit Insurance cover is not easy to get a deal on these days though so good luck with your search.

The short answer is yes she does have to declare it by law however the claim will not be on the uk database and would be impossible to trace as the policy was not in her name

the question goes have you had any accidents, claims, incidents or losses in the last five years reguardless of fault

let your moral compass be your guide

(this would be classed as a fault accident and would heavily load any premium)

a deductible is not the same as bonus, a deductible is an excess,
UK bonus is not recognised by US insurers

Isn't it that if you register your dog before his 8th birthday or something, you can keep the insurance going..?

The Kennel Club might do it, their dog insurance is very popular. Or you can use a comparison website? That is what I did.
