Pa Commercial Insurance

Kelly Said:

How do I get old employer involved in a civil judgment that was file against me?

We Answered:

Hmm, it's a bit late for that. You should have brought your former employer into it before the judgment was filed against you.

The only hope you have now is bring a motion to "set aside" the judgment so that you can argue the case and bring your former employer into.

Why is there a judgment? Didn't you answer the complaint against you? Was there a trial?

But even if you do get a new trial, if your employer agrees with the plaintiff that you were at fault for this, you will not accomplish much.

See a lawyer.

Does PA require commercial license plates?

We Answered:

I'm pretty sure only "commercial vehicles" such as a vehicle requiring a CDL to operate would require commercial plates.

Can US citizen sponsor his parents with age under 21 ?

We Answered:

Anytime a US citizen sponsors a parent for permanent residency, minor children cannot "piggyback" on the same application. USCIS define "minor" as an unmarried child under the age of 21.

The US citizen would need to file a separate petition for his/her sibling. Alternatively, once your parents arrive here, they, as green card holders, can sponsor their other unmarried children.

getting into a good PA college?

We Answered:

I go to Washington & Jefferson. You might be able to get in depending on your SAT scores. The extracurriculars and tennis and working all help. Also, if you want to go pre-law, W&J has the 3rd best acceptence rate into law school and around 85% pass the LSATS (the national average is 62%). So if you can get in and get a good scholarship or grant, I would go here because it sets you up the best for the future.

I wouldnt go to Temple (its just a bad area). Pitt is good but not great, same with penn state. Duquesne also has a very good law school, but you are kind of trapped in the hill district in the heart of the city.
