Liability Insurance Quote Online

Randall Said:

Proffesional Liability Insurance?

We Answered:

You do need to have Commercial General Liability (CGL) in place first or at least simultaneously purchase both. Even if you have not had insurance before it is possible for a standard company to write both policies for you. I would check with Travelers Property Casualty since they have an excellent policy tailored for technology companies and they will also write the professional liability (also called e & o--errors & omissions coverage) as long as you have documented experience. You will need to provide your projected annual gross receipts, an estimate of your contents or equipment, your projected annual payroll and a copy of the standard contract you use.

The website for you to find a Travelers agent in your area is http://www.travelers.com/

You may also want to get quotes through other companies. Usually Travelers agents have more than one company available to you since they are independent agents (i.e. they are allowed to represent multiple companies) but you can also get recommendations for other independent agents through other business owners and get other agents to quote.

Good Luck

Don't just get quote from one website, you should check 2-3 online comparison sites and at least one individual company.
I know it's a lot of work, but it's your money, you should do the homework before you settle with one. the rates are all different depend on different person's situation. You can find out more at http://carsinsurancetips.com/
Hope it helps, good luck!

Cost of insurance for 2nd gen Toyota Mr2?

We Answered:

The MR2 does have higher insurance rates than other cars as it is preferred by the younger crowd and is a sports car. Your insurance will be higher on any car until you are 25 with a good record.

where can i get insurance and bonding for a house cleaning bussiness consisting of just myself?

We Answered:

You can't buy this online. You'd have to go to a local insurance agent.

Yes, an independent agent could get you coverage at the same place.

Liability insurance, protects you from being sued, if someone sues you. It is NOT an automatic payout to someone if you break their stuff.

Bonding, would pay the person named on the bond - it does NOT carry over to everyone who's house you clean, you'd need one bond per person. Unless, the city is requiring the bond, and then it's a LICENSE bond, to the city.

Most housecleaners can't afford to carry liability and bonding - it runs around $1500 a year, and you have to pay the first year in full.

Sit down with a local independent agent (find one at www.iiaa.org) and they can explain it to you. Call first, to make sure they can do bonding - only about 1 in 10 agents know what they heck they're doing, when it comes to bonds.
