What you can do is call your local insurance companies and tell them what you plan on doing. Ask them for insurance that can cover you. I know Aflac gives you money for bills ect should you get hurt on the job. I would also try the sba. (Small Business Association) Jut research it. Dont settle for the first thing you come accross. Take notes on everything.

~~There may be better tax advantages by incorporating but it will not affect your premiums. I don't know what state you live in, but I will give you the number to our insurance agent we use with Costco Insurance. Her name is Lisa and call her at 1-800-611-9057 ext #2206.

We currently have Costco Insurance which is under our business (has to have two people covered) and is through United Healthcare. They are excellent and our premiums for great coverage are very reasonable. It does go by age, so the younger you are the less it costs.preexistingting clause is required. Dental is also available.

Our business is suffering from the bad economy so we are currently working again with her to get us more of a major medical coverage to reduce the premiums, because things are so tight. This girl has gone out of her way to find us a top notch policy at unbelievable rates. It isn't through Costco anymore, which I loved having their backing, but it is with Blue Shield and it is still a very trustworthy insurance.

She'll do whatever she can to get you great insurance. We've used her for over 6 years now and she is awesome. I hope you live in a state which she can sell in. Good luck!~~

Check your Yellow Pages for an independent agent in your area. An independent agent represents more than one company so they are able to provide you competitive quotes. Also ask about General Liability insurance as you will need that as well.

First of all under your own Automobile Liability policy you have (should have) for your business you can purchase non owned & HIRED auto liabiltiy coverage. This gives you two types of coverage (1) liability for employees using thier own car in the business of the firm <ie> accountant running to bank, or another employee going to post office. (2) liability coverage over the liability provided by rental car company (which isn't much). Also under you own coverage you can purchase Hired Physicial damage for damage to the rental unit. HOWEVER this needs to be checked closely for two areas (1) alleged loss of income by the rental company if the unit is not available (2) loss of residual value.
HOWEVER with all this said be sure and check the credit cards you are using. I was in the Insurance business for a number of years and had clients with the same problem you have. The Master Card gold & Visa Gold provided total coverage for damage to the car as long as they were used to rent the unit. Just a couple of ideas.
