OK, on that visualizing fake certificates . . .I've SEEN them, and I know they're out there.

MOST companies use Accord certificates of insurance. BUT, you see, the AGENCY name is on them with a contact phone number, so whoever it is that gets the cert can check it. Of course, it lists the policy numbers, coverage amounts, effective dates, and carrier name - someone else to call and verify.

Then the bottom section has the "holder" provision - the person getting the certificate. So it's custom printed out for each of your clients that asks for one. You can't do it - your agent has to get it for you. Some contractors request 5 - 10 certificates A WEEK. It's normal.

1. The polls are absolutely ridiculous. I don't think they should even exist until the first few weeks of the season are over. So you blew out Northern Mississippi School for the Blind by 80? Good for you. Talk to me when you play your real schedule and not some chump school.

2. I completely agree with you about bowls. I hate the names. The Somewhere Federal Credit Union Pointsetta bowl? Really? And there are waaay too many of them. If you're not good enough to be one of the top two teams in your conference enjoy your Christmas break at home.

You hit my top two gripes but I have one more. Over-coverage by the media. Do we really need show after show after show of wrap up and pre-game and all that with hosts that don't know much more about what's going on than I do? No.

Bring on basketball season!
