Why, I'm glad you asked! They get it from US--from our insurance premiums, from dropping and capping our insurance, from saying no to those with pre-existing conditions. Yeseterday Obama told a story about a woman who paid $10,000 total for her insurance last year and the company only had to pay out $900. That's quite a profit. Even then, they raised her rates again.

Making people angry and/or fearful of government is like shooting fish in a barrel. I think this is why people tend to believe all of the propaganda. How else could so many people not realize what the problems are and how bad it is?

I've noticed that many people on this site think the senate health care proposal is socialism, even though the entire health care and insurance industries will remain private. In a socialized system all of the medical professionals would work for the government and there would be no insurance industry.
