First of alll, do you already have a job, that you can afford to be picky about what you're doing? If not, take this one, and keep looking.

For commercial insurance underwriting, you WILL occasionally be out of the office, meeting agents, and very large commercial clients. You'll have to do the party circuit at holidays, and you might have to do a few overnights for training or trade shows.

Me, I didn't like it so much at the company level, because you ARE pigeonholed in what you can do. I prefer the agency side of the business.

But any job is better than no job.
