Most specialties providers, Psychiatrist, neurologist, etc. are assigned a case manager (through the managed care company and they okay authorizations for the person's benefits by keeping tabs on the medical records of these specialists patients.~~

I agree. It seems they're getting lamer and like there's more of them recently. I don't know if it's because they're desperate or just because they're idiots and like tormenting us. I hate those Allstate ones where the announcer makes them sound like they're God, Jesus, Superman and Captain America all in one and like if you're not with them you'd might as well kill yourself. Annoying!

Most carriers have their own loss control guys. The ones that hire it out, usually use independent claims adjusting firms.
