Dawn Said:

How much does it cost to register a passenger vehicle in your province or state?

We Answered:

Some states have a flat fee for registration, others have a complicated and convoluted formula for figuring it out. In my state, Oklahoma for an example:

Flat fee, value and age: $15.00 plus 1.25%
of the factory delivered price. Fee for
2nd through 12th year is $15.00 plus
90 percent of the previous year's percentage
fee. The fee will be the same for the 12th
year through the 20th year. A $1.75 admin.
fee and a $3.00 general revenue fund fee
are included in columns (2) through (4). The
$15.00 registration fee is eliminated for
vehicles 21 years or older.

If you'd like to see it for other states, I've included a table here:

Julian Said:

Why is it that I wanted to flee to Canada under the Bush Administration and now under the Obama Administration?

We Answered:

It's because corporations and bankers -- international ones, no less -- are buying our politicians. Now that the Republican-appointed right wing corporate-kissing Supremes have sold our government down the river, we're going to see a lot more of that. We the People have no more voice. Small businesses now have no more voice. Only the very rich -- including from other countries -- have a voice now. Get used to it. Exxon or Dow can say to your STATE OR FEDERAL elected official, "Do it my way and I'll spend $5M on your election. Vote against what I want and I'll spend that $5M defeating you." So unless you won't mind when they start strip mining the hill behind your house, you'd better call your congresscreeps and beg them to amend the Constitution to get the big money corruption out of our government. Those may be the most important phone calls you ever make.

The House Bill is HR 1826 Fair Elections Now Act sponsored by John Larson of Connecticut
The Senate Bill is S. 752 Fair Elections Now Act sponsored by Dick Durbin of Illinois

Dustin Said:

commercial trucking driver ULTRA IMPORTANT?

We Answered:

The insurance companies should have direct access to your government kept driving record regardless of what your crooked former employer is telling them. You need to talk to insurance reps directly and tell them that your former employer is crooked and under investigation due to payroll fraud... or whatever... and they should disregard his statements about you. This is what I would do if I was in your shoes. Sometimes, talking directly to the ones in control can work in your favor. It's worth a try.

Lonnie Said:

Does anyone know if this is true or not?

We Answered:

You should be eligible for insurance. Call one up and talk top them.

insurance problem, auto?

We Answered:

I'm not sure about Canada but in the USA, the cancellation would have no EFFECT because it is not a negative cancellation.

Bombs leave an IMPACT and sometimes teeth are IMPACTED but non payment or tickets would EFFECT you, not impact you.
