Motor Trade insurance policy help?

We Answered:

J G strikes again!
If stopped by the Police they would find no insurance for the car for him on the MID. They would then want to know who he was insured through and they would then phone the insurer to check it out there and then.
If he goes through an ANPR check or an ANPR equipped police car flags the car up as possible no insurance then they will stop it. If he has no insurance the inconvenience will get worse as they will impound the car.
The motor trade policy could be for social as well as trade use so he could well be insured
